EVACUATION PROCEEDURE IN EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY

Stay calm assess the situation, if you can without endagering yourself use correct fire extinguisher to fight the fire
|

Immediateley shout fire,on hearing that other staff should assess the situation and lead public to safety to assembly point at gate of rear yard,phone fire brigade
unless you have catogorically been told that has been done,not forgetting there may be someone using the office who may not have heard the shout,Be ready to tell
fire brigade officer details of missing persons and storage areas of explosive material ie spray adhesive gaz bottle for forklift oil tank for heating

If fire starts at bottom of stairs to store room staff should use rope ladder or ordinary ladder to escape this ladder should not be moved for any other reason
